This doesn’t make much of a difference to me personally because I’d been using a script for it, but it’s great they finally put that in!
However: Step Backward (and a bunch of other actions it seems) now makes the active layer scroll to the top of the layers panel. 
This doesn’t seem like a big deal, but on big files with tons of layers you change to and from frequently, it’s super irritating having the layers panel flip flop around on it’s own and having to constantly scroll manually back to where you were. 
If anyone knows what I mean and has a tip how to turn it off, please let me know?

  5. stinking said: Also undo, rather than step backward, doesn’t use the history so that should be a slight work around for it in theory.
  6. stinking said: Unless there’s a way to make switching layers count as a separate history state I’m not sure if it’s fixable in older versions.
