Did another young ancestor from my kinda-human Homestuck AU, but this time I wanted to try a coloring method that I see a lot of artists using with anime-styled art.

I actually really like the result! The process is a lot more time consuming than my usual process but allows a bit more freedom of color choices from the get go instead of fiddling it all afterwards.

In any case, this is tiny honk friend. Looking forward to growing up to be the Grand Highblood but kinda disgruntled he can’t pick up the blood-stained large metal family heirloom yet. At least he can collect all the special stardust he wants though.

He looked like Bam Bam throughout the entire sketching process. Very strange.
