Ok so, the “kinda human” part came from my RP partner and I wanting to do a humanstuck RP but loving specific troll aspects too much to leave them out, so we ended up with this really weird mishmash that I honestly thought other people would think is really dumb! But I keep finding people wanting to know more so hey what do I know!

Society in this AU is dictated by the hemospectrum, like with trolls. Those on the lowest portion of the spectrum are often taken into slavery in specific niches of what their hue usually exhibits a strength with. 

The goldbloods harbor a lot of psychics whose energy can be used as a power source, so that is generally how they were used. Most cannot produce enough power to really pose as a threat, so they very rarely rise up against their oppressors. One child born into this system was extremely gifted in this sense, and eventually became the leader of a rebellion against the highbloods. 

They hadn’t seen a psionic quite as strong as him before, and he began to see himself as representation for all the others trapped along with him, earning the nickname The Psionic (though he doubles the i’s and talks with a slight lisp). 

He helped break as many other goldbloods as he could free and escaped to the countryside where he married, had a couple kids and took care of a bee farm. He planned on living a peaceful life away from others as much as possible until he heard of a man with mutant blood beginning a movement of peace against the highbloods. Feeling especially personal with this cause, he decided to join his movement.

…Some stuff happened after that but I’m not sure if you wanna know that much, haha.
